Life coaching is a specialised approach to personal growth and development, designed to help people bring about powerful and long-lasting changes in their lives. This process enables individuals to reach their true potential by unveiling and abolishing mental and behavioural barriers that may be hindering them. A life coach can support and motivate their client, through the use of effective methods and techniques, while creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
My job in my relationship coaching is to ask profound and important questions that can assist you in understanding what your goals in life are. Through in-depth inquiry, I will also be able to identify the habits or attitudes that are stopping you from attaining your dreams.
Prior to your first session, I will provide an initial questionnaire for you to fill out, which will help me to get to know you and your goals a bit better. Coaching courses can take anywhere between 4-8 weeks, and each session is usually about 60 minutes to 90 minutes long and are dedicated to catching up on progress since the last meeting and discussing the goals for the next period. The regularity of coaching sessions can be determined by both what I recommend and what is reasonable for your life and timetable. Most often, it is suggested that a session take place each week.
When deciding on which relationship coach to work with, it is important to find someone who can create a safe place for you to open up. I believe that my job as a relationship coach is not just to give you strategies, but to hear your concerns and fears and help you understand them so that change may be possible. Creating honest, trustworthy relationships with my clients has always been my top priority and will continue to be so in the future.
Coaching means I help you to find the way forwards within yourself. I don’t tell you what to do; I ask the questions you haven't asked yourself. As a provider of relationship coaching, I am not here to tell you what to do. My role is to help you reformulate your thinking, and find new ways forward for yourself.
